UPDATE: Major Crimes Detectives Investigate Death as a Homicide

Spokane Valley Major Crime Detectives continue to investigate the death of a male discovered on May 6, 2025, inside a parked motorhome/RV in the 6500 block of E. Broadway Avenue.

From initial information gained during the early stages of the investigation, Detectives now consider this a homicide and are asking for the public’s help.

Investigators believe the adult male victim and the 1988 Winnebago RV arrived in the 6500 block of Broadway, between N. Dyer Road and I-90, sometime on Sunday, May 4, 2025.

However, they believe the victim and RV may have been in the greater Spokane/Coeur d’Alene area for several months.

Detectives are releasing images of the RV and are asking for the following help from the community:

  • They are looking for information regarding the RV or anyone associated with it, from Sunday, May 4, 2025, to Tuesday, May 6, 2025, while it was in the general area of E. Broadway and I-90.
  • They also would like specific information regarding the RV, anyone associated with it, or other locations where it was known to be parked, between April and May 4, 2025.

If you can provide specific information that may help Detectives, you are asked to call Major Crimes Detective M. Melville at 509-477-3325, reference #10060432.
