Spokane County Deputies Locate Vehicle Reported Stolen in Montana and Arrest Driver 

Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Deputies received an Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) Alert regarding a silver Chevrolet that had been reported stolen in Montana on June 3, 2025.  They located the vehicle and safely took the driver into custody.  Through their investigation, Deputies developed probable cause to arrest the driver for Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle.  

On July 23, 2025, at approximately 6:40 pm, Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) Alert regarding a silver 2013 Chevrolet Malibu reported stolen in Montana on June 3, 2025.  

Deputies located the vehicle, confirmed the Montana license plate, and conducted a traffic stop on N. McKinnon Road and E. Upriver Drive.  The driver, 31-year-old Blake L. Hampton, followed commands and was safely detained.

Through their investigation, Deputies developed probable cause to arrest Hampton.

Hampton was transported and booked into the Spokane County Jail for charges of Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Driving without an Interlock Device as Required.
