The purpose of the Spokane County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan is to reduce or eliminate, to the extent possible, the potential for loss of life and/or property damage from natural or human-caused hazards. The Plan identifies the risks and vulnerabilities present across Spokane County and includes strategies and actions which can lessen the impact of the identified hazards before they occur.
The intent and ultimate goal is to help Spokane County and its communities minimize the impact of disasters on people, property, and the environment; lessen economic losses; avoid repeated damage; and support efficient and effective recovery when disasters occur.
We would greatly appreciate you taking the time to participate in the community survey that can be found here or through the QR code in the picture.
