Suspect of Hit and Run Injury and Property Damage Collision Arrested Following a Domestic Argument that Escalated
Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported domestic violence call and learned the suspect had hit the victim with his SUV, pinning her between it and another vehicle. The victim received a serious injury to her arm and damage to her car before the suspect drove away in his SUV.
Spokane Valley Deputies assisted in locating the suspect at a residence in the area of 32nd Avenue and S. Bowdish Road and took him into custody without incident. He was later transported and booked into the Spokane County Jail on felony and misdemeanor charges.
On June 5, 2025, at approximately 8:10 pm, Spokane County Deputies responded to a domestic violence call at a residence near W. Boone Avenue and N. Dover Road.
Deputies contacted the adult female victim, who explained that she was involved in an argument with the suspect, 31-year-old Nash J. Archer. During the argument, Nash hit her with his SUV, pinning her between it and another vehicle. Nash then backed up, pulled in behind the victim’s vehicle, and drove into it, causing moderate damage to the rear of her car. Afterward, Nash drove away without checking on the victim or assessing the damage he had caused.
The victim was provided medical attention for what appeared to be a serious injury to her arm.
Deputies learned the suspect might be at a residence near 32nd and Bowdish and asked Spokane Valley Deputies to assist.
At approximately 9:05 pm, Spokane Valley Deputies contacted Nash, who was cooperative, and they safely took him into custody.
Nash was transported to the Spokane County Jail, where he was advised of his rights and agreed to answer questions. He admitted to arguing with the victim earlier and that he accidentally hit the shifter of his SUV, causing it to go into drive. His SUV struck the victim and pinned her against another vehicle. He backed away but accidentally put his SUV in drive again, causing the SUV to move forward and collide with the victim’s vehicle. He left the location to create separation from the victim.
Nash was booked into the Spokane County Jail for Assault 2nd Degree (DV) and Hit/Run-Unattended Vehicle (DV). Deputies also issued him a criminal citation for Driving while Suspended 3rd Degree.
